The Diamond Valley Arts Council presents Art X 3 Reception. They are proud to present their newest exhibit - ART X 3. Three very talented artists present an exhibit of mixed media. The 3 - Roger of Laguna Beach, Porcelain Painters of Sierra Dawn, and Mrs. Lois Stipp - show incredible original art in this exciting and eye catching show. There will be a meet and greet with the artists and the Porcelain Painters will be giving a demonstration of their unique form.
Roger of Laguna Beach presents "pin-ups" in colored pencil. If you enjoy traditional WWII pin-up art, this exhibit by Roger is a fresh reinterpretation of this genera.' Each piece is an original and expertly rendered. He is a master of his technique. Created in colored pencil, these images are offered in framed and unframed format.
The Porcelain Painters of Sierra Dawn are devoted to creating works of fine art on porcelain objects and tiles. This group which formed over twenty years ago has created a variety of high quality images for this show. Well worth the visit to see these expertly created pieces of fine porcelain art. The group meets two days a week to work on projects, guided by highly qualified instructors. New members are always encouraged to join, not only Sierra Dawn residents, but, from the greater community at large.
The third contributor to the show is Lois Stripp. Lois is a local artist, instructor and gallery owner. Additionally, she is the President of the Diamond Valley Arts Council, showing her works in a show for the first time in our gallery. Her varied original works showcase a wide range of styles and her versatility. Show runs through February 25, 2017.
