Tutors needed
Sylvan Learning of Hemet is accepting applications for tutors.
· Gain experience in elementary, middle, and/or high school instruction
· Provide homework support and personalized tutoring
· Teach students in a low student-teacher ratio
· Use pre-planned lessons and proven methods developed by educators
· Use materials approved by schools
· Motivate students of all ages to excel academically
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor's Degree or 60 units of college credit toward degree in Math, English, Education, or a related field
· Reliable transportation
· Team player
· After-school availability two to four days a week Monday-Thursday
· Local candidates and candidates with experience teaching early literacy and/or high school-level math preferred
Instructional hours take place after school Monday through Thursday in the San Jacinto & Anza areas.
