SLANG is a jazz funk band that will make your speakers smell.  Listening to their music is a life experience and a view into the souls of it's 5 members.  They create a new sound by combining the style of their predecessors with a progressive musical language deeply rooted in improvisational jazz, funk, rock, hip hop & neo-soul.  This new sound, created by the 4 founding members of the band, was born from a vision to "funkify" the world, expanding funk's possibilities and bringing its lively tradition to a mainstream audience and solidified with the addition of Grammy Award winning percussionist, Miguel Ramirez, to the group.
