The Hemet/San Jacinto Chamber of Commerce hosts Glenn Pomeroy, Chief Executive Officer of the California Earthquake Authority at 8 a.m., on Friday, Aug. 4 for an informative presentation on how communities can best prepare for “the big one.”  Pomeroy will talk about the risk of earthquakes in California, which is home to two-thirds of the nation’s earthquakes, and the role the California Earthquake Authority plays in working with  insurers and communities to expand coverage for home owners.  Learn about how the Salvation Army serves the community from Lt. James Fleming.
