Jazzgrass was put together in 1999 by pianist Barnaby Finch to honor the newer and more progressive side of Bluegrass. Now, Barnaby has recruited some talented locals to play music written by Bela Fleck, Pat Metheny, Dave Grusin, and many more…. Jazzgrass features the famous Idyllwild virtuoso, Don Reed, on mandolin, dobro, and guitar. The amazing Sam Zorn on fiddle. On bass is David Hughes. Jeff Olson on drums. Rounding out the band is veteran ace Sean Longstreet.
